"5 Stars: Raw. Pure. Innocent. Soothing. Crisp. Beautiful. Honest. Amazing. Moving. Clear. Intense. An immense flow of emotion comes pouring out of Groves during Fireflies and Songs, resulting in one of the best albums of 2009." -TheChristianManifesto.com
“...Fireflies and Songs celebrates all that’s best in relationships as well as the mundanity of life, helps conquer fears, rejoice in triumphs, and encourages our determination to remain on the right path." -StereoTruth.net
Hi friends,
The pre-sale and response from friends, family and listeners has been very encouraging. We are so blessed by all of the people who have worked so hard to make this music known. The album is off to a great start and we honored to be a part of your lives.
- a few reviews are starting to trickle in. Check out these links:

- We are down to our last 150 of the $25 package!!!! We have just 1 week to go before Sara's latest album officially releases worldwide and the 'exclusive online only pre-sale package' (with Rwandan coffee, stories behind the songs, 4 bonus songs, etc...) goes away for good.

- Here is the 2nd music video released today entitled 'Twice As Good'. Here is what Sara has to say about this song:
"In Rwanda they say, "You better have four good friends," because the ambulance in Rwanda is a cot carried by four men. So if you get hurt, you better have four friends that are willing to forego a day's wages and usually help pitch in on your medical costs. I brought back statuettes which represent that from Rwanda for each of my 'go-to' girlfriends. We each have one in our home. Often, one of us will say, "It's my turn in the cot." [Laughs] Christa Wells, an amazing singer/songwriter from NC (www.christawells.net), came up with the line 'half as hard and twice as good' and I kind of built the song around that.

- Come out and see Sara this December! We are on the road for the 14 cities (in 17 days) 'O Holy Night' Christmas tour. We have the full band out with us for a musical, multi-media, sing-a-long night with a few surprises mixed in. We are also excited to provide updates from the village we sponsor in Rwanda through Food for the Hungry. God has done some amazing things this past year and we are grateful to be a part.

- We also want to tell you about an amazing album by a very good friend, Jason Gray (Centricity Records). Jason's new album combines depth in lyrical content with very accessible, fun, pop music. Christianity Today Magazine just reviewed 'Everything Sad Is Coming Untrue' and said "...smart writing is woven throughout, tackling themes of confession, redemption and renewal." We've had the privilege of traveling with Jason and have been blessed by his music for many years. Peruse Jasons very fun, and award winning, website and pick up a copy of the new album!
All for now, thanks for reading!
