Ever since we opened up the guest book several years ago there has been a steady flow of stories and comments. From time to time there is criticism, but for the most part the entries have been encouraging and heart-felt. I'm not on the computer much, so I don't get to read the entries as they are posted, but my dad reads it every day (and cries), and calls me to say, 'keep going'. My father-in-law saw that I was getting discouraged once and printed out twenty pages of the guest book for me to read while we were on the road. As I read them I was sad that I couldn't respond to every entry, at least in some small way.
When we first started out in 1997 I used to answer all my e-mail, but I didn't have kids then, and no one was writing to me either. Well, all this to say, thank you. I don't take it for granted that you are writing your stories and sharing your hearts here with us (or your criticism) and I appreciate all the encouragement and thoughts. The greatest compliment I can get is to hear that this music is a part of people's lives and life events, weddings, funerals, in your car stereo. Thank you for keeping us in the loop.
grateful,
Sara
