This song features a unique collaboration of artists - Propaganda, Robby Seay, and myself, and featuring Audrey Assad and Ellie Holcomb. The collaboration was inspired by the work of International Justice Mission, which celebrated 20 years of their work in the world last Fall with the Liberate Conference where the song was performed and captured. A couple months prior to the event, Robbie, Prop and I gathered to capture the spirit and theme of the event - “Behold, I am doing a new thing, even now I am coming. Do you see it?” I have been a fan of Robbie Seay for years, and am completely blown away by Propaganda on all fronts. Going in, I wondered how we would navigate coming from different musical spaces - worship leader, singer/songwriter, hip hop artist - but we were at the Art House where all kinds of fusion has occurred over the years, and over everything, there was generosity. It didn’t really come together until we were all together again at the event - to watch that happen in the moment was powerful. Behold is available on all streaming platforms!

An Expedition: Patreon

Welcome to this new journey. Writing music has always been a part of my life as a mode of expressing my heart and soul, and working out all of the things I am processing at any given time. It has been hobby and career.  From my full-time start in 1998, the music industry has changed a great deal, especially the part that translated my work into sustainable income. Patreon makes it simple for us to connect, and helps make making music sustainable.  Historically, the arts have always required endowment, and that is the kind of space we have entered again in music. With Patreon, I hope to discover a fresh way of connecting with my listeners who have already been patrons over the lifetime of my career. It is in my heart to connect more and share the process along the way. I am looking forward to seeing what happens through this - thank you for walking with me on this expedition.

peace and grace,
